Six O'clock appointment to check into the hospital. By nine O'clock the decision has been made to administer a low dose of Pitocin. The Pit immediately increases contractions from every seven or eight minutes to every three or four minutes.
We're settling in for an all nighter. Hopefully Emily can get some sleep tonight. She knows she'll need the strength tomorrow.

OK-it's 1:44 my time; I just woke up to feed Bella a little while ago and smelled natural gas, woke Kee up to investigate that, but while he gets up to deal with it my first thought is "Aeneas must be here!" and I am grateful for this update on the blog. I desperately want to call Jared's cell phone, but don't want to wake him up if he's somehow managing some rest...
