DnD Camp
From Aeneas:
DnD today was fun. First we did Wizball, which is baseball, except with magic, and you can use any skill instead of just the athletic ones (I mostly did arcana). Then we did one where we had to pick herbs, but the only place they grew was the site of an ongoing battle between a kraken and some evil fish people, which was so-so. Then I played Magic against the DM while the other people had their characters battle, and we ate lunch. Then we did a mission we were underleveled for, and by the end we were out of spell slots and healing potions, and one guy had been healed awake and immediately knocked back unconscious 4 times. It was awesome.

CDMX: Coyoacรกn Neighborhood
The Frida Kahlo Museum (Casa de Azul) had a really long line. So, we went to the Leon Trotsky Museum and a dangerous playground instead.

Parenting fail: After Jared and I commented to each other multiple times about how this type of playground equipment and ground covering is no longer allowed in the U.S. for good reasons, I forced Aeneas to do the monkey bars resulting in a fall in rough gravel and a lot of bleeding.

Halloween 2017
Another amazing Halloween in Culver City. Another amazing Halloween for Aeneas to dress as a wizard and pretend like he's not in costume.

Aeneas Turns 11!
He asked for "a barrel" for this birthday. I said, "Come again, a barrel?" He said, "yeah, to sit in and feel cozy while I read."
Amazon doesn't carry barrels. They do, however, have Pea Pods. He is very pleased. Temple Grandin should be proud.
