A family shot from last night's White Coat ceremony. First year med students receive their white doctor's jacket with their name, an engraved stetchescope & a pager (although they didn't hand those out quite yet) to mark the end of their first year as they move away from the classroom part of the training and into spending substantial time in the hospital.

Aeneas at seven months. By our measurements he is 30" long and weighs 23lbs. He's not yet crawling, but he is real close. You can tell he wants too. He is also begining to pull himself up. If he's sitting next to an object that he can get a firm grasp of, he'll use it to try to push himself up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
The new habit we're hoping to break him of is his screaming. He never does it in public, and rarely when other people are around, but when it's just us, he'll let out a war whoop - we are south of the Mason-Dixon, so maybe it's more of a Rebel Yell - Whatever it is, we're not too thrilled with it.

Grandma Sally (Nana) was here for a couple weeks, a couple weeks ago, we miss her thoroughly. Sometimes it seems it takes three adults to raise the one baby. This picture is from one of the last days before she left, but our Azaelas are still blooming. They really brighten up the neigborhood. Our neighborhood is called Ednor Gardens, and the name does have some semblence to reality, not that we know who ednor is, but there are many beautiful flower gardens in bloom this time of year.
