Today was a big day. Aeneas, just a few days past his 2nd birthday, completed his first ever whole loop! We've been playing trains since he was six months old, he's been helping for quite awhile now, but today he went and played by himself. Much to our amazement he made this whole loop w/o any help! What a proud Papa I am!

Good morning cute little camper!

This is from a month or so back. We went camping with Kee & Kim & Bella in the Oregon woods. Bella & Aeneas spent most of the trip picking Berries. Bella at 26 months knows more about berry picking than 99% of the U.S. population. At times I mistook her for a bear. High, Low, everywhere Bella could sniff out the gloriously wild oregon berries.

Not only is Aeneas blessed to have such a pretty Mama, but also his existence is so charmed as to be able to witness a ballgame & Skyblast from PNC Park- The 4th Professional Baseball Stadium he has visited before the rip old age or 2!

Emily is on a bit a slow period before her Medicene clerkship starts in a few weeks, so we took the opportunity to visit West Berlin.

Aeneas has been enjoying the new bike path at Jones Falls.

Summer 2008 - We really should be taking more pictures. Aeneas is about as cute as he could be. He can speak just well enough to get the point across, but not so well as that its not still exciting when he learns new words. We had a very nice 10 days in the Northwest after Emily finished taking her step 1 Board Exams. We were able to see quite few people, although not nearly everyone we wanted to, nor anyone for quite long enough. It was also nice to beat the heat for a little while - all our heat rashes and sunburns were able to heal up. But it did make us a little soft, when we got back to Baltimore 95 & humid was even more brutal than it was before.

If anyone we saw in the Northwest has any nice pictures it would be nice it you sent them to me (standstill@gmail.com) so that we can add them to our collection.

Aeneas is happy to let Maya drive as they go for a trip around the park.

Always the consummate ladies man, Aeneas welcomed sweet & lovely Nora into town by sharing his PlaySkool Hourglass. Only trouble being that as Nora is just nine months old she hasn't learned to catch the high fast ones quite yet. So really Aeneas' welcoming was more of a lesson for Nora in the hard knock life here in Balmur.

He also peed in Nora's parents bed. Oh the memories we're making...

We are sure they're meant to be!
