(scene: A dark & dingy Baltimore alley, just before dawn. Restless from the baby's kicks and incessant hunger, Emily has gone for an early run before Anatomy)

A raven swoops down from the electric wire running behind a set of two-story row houses.

Raven: What are you doing in my alley?

Emily: I'm just trying to clear my head.

Raven: Is there something bothering you? Why is your head unclear?

Emily: My head is simply full of arteries, nerves, muscle & bone. It's the words, they just swirl about. Tensor Veli Palatini, Tensor Veli Palatini, Ptergomandibuler, Ptergomandibuler...

Raven: Oh yes, I see, it's been some time since a young mother in medical school has found her way back here to see me. But tell me, dear young lady, what it is that really keeps you up at night?

Emily: It's my precious baby, he just eats and eats and eats. I love him so much, but I'm afraid he's sucking the life force right out of me. He's growing so fast, I can barely keep up!

Raven: But you can keep up, can't you? I can see it in your smile. Your baby is very lucky to have you. Go on, go home to your husband and child, there waiting for you.

Emily: Thank you Raven! This is a great way to start my day!

Raven: Come back whenever you need a friendly ear...

Don't you hate when hiccups ruin your good time?
The experts suggest that you spend a lot of time speaking to your children. But do you think this is what they meant?

Aldrich admires Aeneas, the little giant, during the Saints/Bears game.

Aeneas is growing out of his 3-6 month clothes despite the fact that he is not yet 3 months old.

We're glad he's growing at a good clip, it means he's healthy, but we also hope he doesn't grow too much taller than his father. It's hard enough when you're 6'4 to find shoes and travel on airplanes!

Here's another short video.

Dreaming of Bears
Not the Chicago ones
The teddy type
Tho the Chicago ones are nice
But
It wouldn't be fair
To root against the Saints

I've been unsuccessfully trying to get a short video up on the blog. So until I figure out how to do that check out this link.

Aeneas loves his girl Anne. He can stare at her, smile & laugh, for far longer than his father or his rattle or his mobile can entertain him.

Aeneas with his Pediatrician Dr. Morgan-Cooper. He likes Dr. Morgan-Cooper but he's on the watch for the lady that brings in the shots!

At his two month check-up he was 25.5 inches long and nearly 14 pounds. Both are above the 90% range. That may not seem to too amazing considering his parents are both tall, but he was pretty close to average at birth, so in two months he's grown three inches & is getting close to having doubled his body weight.
